Trillium Health Partners Women’s and Children’s Inpatient Care Moving to the Credit Valley Hospital
As of October 8, 2025, Trillium Health Partners will provide all inpatient hospital care – or care that requires an overnight stay - for women’s health, birthing patients, and children at the Credit Valley Hospital. This will continue until construction is complete on the future Shah Family Hospital for Women and Children — the first hospital of its kind in Ontario, dedicated to the unique healthcare needs of women and children.
What does this mean for you?
- Having your baby before October 8, 2025? If your birth is before October 8 at Mississauga Hospital your plans will not change.
- Having your baby after October 8, 2025? Your birth will take place at the Credit Valley Hospital. Please reach out to your primary care provider with any questions regarding your delivery plans.
Renovations at the Credit Valley Hospital are already underway to ensure a smooth experience for patients and families. Emergency care will continue at both Mississauga Hospital and Credit Valley Hospital. If you visit the Mississauga Hospital Emergency Department and need specialized care from an obstetrician/gynecologist or paediatrician who is located at Credit Valley Hospital, our medical teams will arrange a safe transfer. This ensures you receive the right care from the right specialists when you need it most.
Select paediatric clinics will remain at or adjacent to the Mississauga Hospital, including the Family Care Centre and Sexual Assault and Domestic Violence Services (Chantel’s Place). You can find a full list of outpatient clinics here.
Credit Valley Hospital Site
The Credit Valley Hospital is located at the intersection of Eglinton Avenue West and Erin Mills Parkway in Mississauga.
Arriving at the Hospital
Enter the Hospital from the H block (Women’s & Children’s Entrance). Take the stairs or SUN elevator to the third floor. The Labour Assessment Unit is at the top of the stairs, to the right of the elevator.
All hospital entrances are barrier-free/wheelchair accessible.

Mississauga Hospital Site
Please note: As of October 8, 2025, all inpatient services for women and children – including labour and delivery – will be provided at Credit Valley Hospital.
100 Queensway W., Mississauga ON
Mississauga Hospital is located at the corner of Queensway West and Hurontario Street (Highway 10), just two minutes north of the Queen Elizabeth Way (QEW) in Mississauga.
Enter through the main entrance. Follow the Mother and Baby signs to Elevator D, and take it to the third floor. The Labour Assessment Unit and Birthing Suites are to the right as you exit the elevator. As of October 8, 2025, if you are having a baby, please go to Credit Valley Hospital.
Arriving at the Hospital
Main Entrance: Use this entrance between 7:00 am and 9:00 pm.
Emergency Entrance: Open 24 hours a day.
Please note: this is the only entrance accessible between 9:00 pm and 7:00 am.
All hospital entrances are barrier-free/wheelchair accessible.

Parking
Mississauga Hospital Site
Park in the new parking structure located on Bronte Court. More parking information can be found here.
If it is an emergency, patients can be dropped off at the Emergency Entrance. Both entrances can be accessed from Queensway.
Credit Valley Hospital Site
Park in the parking structure across from the H Block Entrance.
If it is an emergency, patients can be dropped off at the H Block Entrance.
Parking Fee Options
When you arrive at the parking entrance, take a parking ticket and bring it with you when you leave your car.
Before returning to your vehicle, pay for your parking at one of the pay stations located in the hospital.
You can purchase a parking pass from the parking office or at any of the pay stations.
