Trillium Health Partners is affiliated with over 20 academic institutions including the University of Toronto, Ryerson, York, Trent, Sheridan, Humber, Seneca, George Brown and Nipissing. Currently, we offer over 1200 placements for the following nursing programs - Registered Nurse(RN), Registered Practical Nursing (RPN), Post Registered Nurse (Post RN), Masters of Nursing (MN), Nurse Practitioner (NP), Bridging Registered RPN to RN and Internationally Educated Nurse (IEN) as well as specialized nursing courses across our 3 hospital sites in every unit.
Students interested in a nursing placement at Trillium Health Partners should express their interest with their institutes’ coordinator. Nursing placements will be coordinated by the
Education office student placement coordinator in collaboration with the institutes’ academic coordinators through the
Health Sciences Placement Network (HSPnet).
Trillium Health Partners is part of the HSPnet user group and GTA Consortium and follow set placement deadlines.
Requests for placements must be submitted by the following dates:
- Fall requests:
June 15
- Winter requests:
October 15
- Spring/Summer requests:
February 15
