The Fracture Clinic is an outpatient clinic that treats and manages of acute orthopaedic injuries. Both the Mississauga Hospital and Credit Valley Hospital fracture clinics provide follow-up care to patients who have recently visited the Emergency Department or who have had surgery.
Our Fracture Clinic teams consists of Orthopaedic Surgeons, Registered Orthopaedic Technologists, Clerical Assistants, and Volunteers.
Common services provided at both fracture clinics include:
- assessing and treating broken bones and musculoskeletal injuries
- cast/brace application and removal
- removing stitches and providing follow-up care for fractures and joint replacements (hip and knee)
Please allow 2-3 hours for your fracture clinic visit.
