Proclamation recognizes the people and partnerships advancing better health for the community

May 4, 2026 (Mississauga, ON) – Trillium Health Partners (THP) thanks Mayor Carolyn Parrish, City Council, and the City of Mississauga for proclaiming May 4 to 10, 2026 as Trillium Health Partners Week.

This proclamation reflects a shared commitment to strengthening the health and well-being of the community. It recognizes the essential role Trillium Health Partners plays, alongside many partners, in delivering high-quality, compassionate care to patients and families across the region.

At the heart of this recognition are the more than 17,000 members of Team THP. Every day, they provide exceptional care and support patients and families through some of life’s most important and challenging moments. Their work is guided by the voices of patients, caregivers, and partners, and grounded in a shared goal: creating better health for all.

The City’s proclamation highlights the strong and ongoing partnership between Mississauga and Trillium Health Partners. Together, we are working toward a future where care is more connected, accessible, and responsive to the needs of a growing and diverse population.

The proclamation coincides with Trillium Health Partners’ annual Better Together Week, a time to recognize and celebrate the contributions of Team THP through peer-nominated awards and appreciation events.

“By providing outstanding care every day, Trillium Health Partners is there for our residents and families. It supports people when they need it most and helps to build a healthier Mississauga. I am proud to proclaim May 4 to 10 as Trillium Health Partners Week and to recognize the dedication of Team THP across our city,” said Mayor Carolyn Parrish, City of Mississauga.

“We are grateful to the City of Mississauga for this recognition and for its ongoing partnership,” said Karli Farrow, President and CEO, Trillium Health Partners. “This week is an opportunity to acknowledge the people of Team THP whose skill, compassion, and commitment make a difference every day. Together with our partners, we remain focused on delivering exceptional care today and building a healthier future for the communities we serve.”

The week begins with a visit to City Hall on Monday, May 4, where members of Team THP will join Mayor Parrish and City Council to mark the start of Trillium Health Partners Week.
