Trillium Health Partners is affiliated with the University of Toronto and the primary clinical site for the Mississauga Academy of Medicine.
Several teaching opportunities are available for family physicians from Small Group learning and Clinical Skills training to Clinical Supervision at both the undergraduate and postgraduate levels. A faculty appointment is required.
Opportunities in research and quality improvement are also available as well as exciting faculty development events

Undergraduate Teaching
Family physicians can play multiple roles in the teaching of undergraduate students from the University of Toronto at Mississauga (UTM).

- 54 clerks per year rotate through family medicine every year and we are always seeking interested family physicians supervise clerks in their offices.

The Family Medicine Teaching Units are located at the Credit Valley Family Health Team and at Trillium-Summerville Family Health Team. Family Physicians can become involved in several ways:

Academic Half Day Seminars - 90 min workshops/seminars of topics central to family medicine
